3D Teeth Scans, Invisalign Deals & Back-to-School Dental Cleanings

Scanning your Teeth for Optimal Oral Health…

Don’t be surprised when you come in for your routine cleaning and we take a scan of your teeth.  A scan uses a camera that takes a 3D image of your teeth instead of a traditional impression.  With the scan, we can detect cavities, check your bite, and check for mal-aligned teeth. It also detects the occlusion (contacts) of your teeth. There is no additional fee to take the scan, this is for educational and diagnostic purposes.

Insurance, Insurance… Know All About It…

The benefit packages provided by insurance companies vary from employer to employer. Dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company. Not all services are a covered benefit in all contracts. You need to learn the benefits in your policy. All patients are encouraged to review the cost of their treatment by asking for a treatment plan if one is not provided to them. If you have insurance, we can send a pre-determination to your insurance company for any treatment recommended to you.

Almost Time for Back to School!

Only a few hygiene appointments remain for the month of August, so if you or your child are due or overdue for your dental cleanings, please give us a call so we can schedule you before heading back to school.  Don’t forget, in order for us to fill out your child’s dental forms they must be up to date with their cleanings!

Fun Fact

Sharks can have up to 50,000 teeth in their lifetime.  They constantly lose and replace teeth, ensuring they always have a sharp set ready for hunting.  Unlike human teeth, shark teeth are not anchored in their gums.  Instead, they are loosely attached, making it easier for them to lose and replace them.
